What's on your 'I want it' list?

But it is true. My best electronic purchase since the iPhone.

I have been thinking about buying a high end Alcosense breathalyser. Just can’t bring myself to spend £60+ just to see how pissed I am. But I do think it would be fascinating, and also ensure that I am always completely sober the next morning before I start my car.

Because my girlfriend’s son decided to pour his juice over my iMac keyboard, I’ve decided it’s a good opportunity to buy a mechanical one.

The Matias Quiet Pro is currently my favourite.

Although I’m struggling with how cheap it looks compared to how not-cheap it actually is.

With items like that, it’s key to try the keys first. Find some kind of local computer shop to give mech a try if you haven’t already.

I need a tidy new mechanical keyboard for daily programming and I really like the look of the ‘White Fox’.

Not sure what switches yet but I tried Cherry MX Clears recently and they feel great. They require slightly more pressure than the popular MX Browns.

I’ve had a very good experience with a cheap Chinese mechanical keyboard: https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B01MRKSDQG/ref=mp_s_a_1_9?ie=UTF8&qid=1523557805&sr=8-9&pi=AC_SX236_SY340_QL65&keywords=victsing+keyboard - if you don’t mind the noise maybe you wanna check it out?

That one is discontinued but I’m sure you can find the same one under a different brand - mine was around 30£ so it’s a good gamble IMO.

I want a Google Pixel Book.

And the wee pen thing that goes with it.

Big item: A small van that I can convert to a camper, or a car with fold-flat seats.

Small item: Simba Funko Pop

Bit of a difference in scale, there.

I love the idea of campervans - the motorised version of backpacking! Carrying everything I need with me appeals somehow…
