What music are you listening to at the moment?

Loved this album in 2008, love it even more now. Whether you’re a fan or not, I think the fact Taylor is re-recording all of her music to take back ownership is an incredible thing and it’s interesting to hear it from a new perspective and with a hint of her more recent sound. I think it’s really well done.

Some of this isn’t particularly new now, but fairly varied collection of “new” artists if anyone wants a listen

Have you started it up yet?

Friday evening’s are where most of my music listening is happening now. BBC Four have reached 1991 in their ToTP repeats, and Channel 5’s yearly chart rundowns have also reached the '90s now. So I’m having a massive nostalgia trip as I immerse myself in the music of my youth again.

Massive demerits to ToTP last week though, for reminding me of the existence of “The Geordie Boys (Gazza Rap)”, the video for which is quite possibly the worst thing I’ve ever seen.

On the other hand, C5 did well as the 1991 rundown had no fewer than three KLF songs in it. And then even threw in a bonus Shamen track.

Justified and ancient, last train and what time is love?

Two out of three ain’t bad - What Time is Love didn’t make the top 30; the third song was 3am Eternal.

Well, no other group had three songs included that year, so I can’t get too mad about it

Stumbled across this on Twitter:

(My elder millennial credentials were reinforced :man::factory: )

They were put there by a man, in a factory downtown

I’m confused. Does this make me young or old?

If you know the answer, you’re an old millennial.

(Unless you’re not a millennial at all, in which case you could be Gen X or Y, but you’d also be out of scope for the test anyway.)

My kids would also be able to respond

I think it’s a flawed test
