In fact, I recall the BBC running a show about this where we beat out all the major banks on security in the UK, and the winning point was the fact that we don’t use SMS.

The mail server I use doesn’t have a web interface, it’s only accessible through a dedicated mail client.

That’s interesting and fair enough.

How about another 2FA method such as something like Authy?

How did you install monzo on your phone in the first place?

Basically the same method, sending to across to my phone.

If it’s a one-off authentication because of the update then that’s not really a problem. But if it’s going to need authentication every few weeks then that will get a bit tedious.

Also, I see this is going to be done if you change device or install on a new device. I’d like to know if this will be broken by VPN usage? A lot of apps/websites incorrectly identify me as being on a new device because of my VPN.

I hope it’s something different to what the Monzo Labs have and not going live with them all, as that would be disappointing

What’s important to remember is that the vast majority of monzo customers are still on the old nav. So to the majority of users it will be “something big”

:point_up: That’s how interpreted the same Play Store description from last week - there’s going to be a swap to the new nav (old nav deprecated?) and I expect a bit of an outcry when it does. I like the new nav though, which gives a much more fluid experience.

Don’t think so, but I’ve never toggled between beta/stock to see!

Ooh - that puts it in a different light, unless we (beta-peeps) are seeing the Play Store info that will go live to all just before when new nav switches on for everyone?

Not sure where to ask this but on iOS the bar at the top of the keyboard always disappears after you select one of the options which is really annoying. Anyone else have this?

Does anyone have issues with transaction history?

My transactions only go back as far as May this year, I can’t get beyond that?

I can scroll down through all transactions right back to to when I first got both Personal and Joint accounts with no issue (:android: 2.65.2)

Mine goes back to June 2016 when I first joined Monzo (Mondo).

However I have noticed that my Monzo investment transaction is missing from the 5th December but it does appear it my statement when I view that.

So it is new Nav, Bills pots and a (:drum:roll) secret feature
