Waiting times for a "specialist"

I’ve been waiting for a “specialist” on in-app chat for a little more than 5 hours now. I had got in touch with Monzo because someone said they had paid me through monzo.me, but it wasn’t showing in my account.
Does anyone have any idea how much longer this will take?

No one really knows. Needless to say, don’t expect any immediate response from monzo. There support is not 24/7 despite their adverts.

There are too many factors to take into consideration, so I doubt anyone can help with this unfortunately :slightly_frowning_face:

Alright, thanks anyway. I phoned to see if they could give me an estimate of how long, and they said tomorrow or Monday, so fingers crossed :crossed_fingers:

I mean, from my experience there are COps available 24/7, but that doesn’t help when a lot of issues need you to be escalated to a specalist (which, again from my experience. are only available during working hours)

I believe they skirt the rules by technically being available by answering you at least once. While that might make their statement possibly true on a technicality it’s not true in reality when they disappear after saying hi

Sam here, waiting for a “specialist” and it’s been over 7.5 hours

Getting pretty annoyed with Monzo as I’ve been left in the lurch twice for more than 12 hours last month and had to chase up

I’ve been passed onto a “specialist” before, but this is the first time it’s taken this long (18 hours and counting). Previously it’s taken 8 hours (and that was just me trying to report a bug in the app)

Lucky it was only 5 hours. I’ve been waiting already over a day! First messaged monzo 31 hours ago…
