Hello.. I have not long moved over to Monzo and I am supposed to be getting paid my wage today but at 1.27 am I still waiting for it to come in. Is this normal with Monzo? I haven’t received a wage yet with my Monzo account. The last bank I was with I would get paid at midnight. Can anyone help? I will of cause speak to my employer tomorrow if the money is still not in my bank when I get up but just wanted to know if this is an issue or if it will come in bank at any point today.
It sounds like there may be an issue, if you are paid by BACS, because, ordinarily, it would have appeared greyed out in your timeline yesterday, with the opportunity to get paid early from 4pm.
My income appears in my Monzo at 01:00 every month, without fail.
If you are paid by Faster Payments, then it will be different.
Speak to your employer and confirm that your salary/wages record have been updated correctly.
Also, did you CASS to Monzo, or just open the account?
When you notified your employer of the new bank details will also have a bearing on events.

Assuming you are paid by BACS, these payments are credited any time between 1am and 7am on the day they are due. It’s not Monzo, it’s an industry standard timeframe.
If it’s a BACS payment though, you should be able to see it in the app the working day before; and claim it after 4pm. If it’s not showing then your employer might not be using your correct details yet or they are using Faster Payments to pay you.
If they’re using Faster Payments then the money arrives instantly* and it just depends on when their accountant hits “send”.
*instantly here means instantly in most cases, but sometimes can take up to 2 hours.

I get paid between 1 and 3am. I’m sure you’ll wake up to your wages in your account.
