I’m unable to use my Monzo card in a chip and pin machine, although I can use it at a cash machine and contactless. I’ve received a message stating my next transaction must be chip and pin; what do I do, why won’t chip and pin work?

What happens when you try to use your card in a Chip and PIN terminal?
Some more info on why the app is asking you to use Chip and PIN for your next transaction:
If you’re unable to use Chip and PIN, for example: the terminal is contactless only (vending machines and so on) you can approve the transaction in app and try again. This will act like you used Chip and PIN but must be for the same transaction amount.
I would, however, suggest contacting Monzo in app and they should be able to look into it for you!

There might be an issue with the card? You can order a new one in the app.
