Use new biometrics not working

Using a Samsung Galaxy S10Plus software version 10, I have a fingerprint and face registered on my phone, but for some reason, my Monzo app doesn’t pick it up and just launches straight into the app.

There is an option to turn it on in app. It’s off by default. Have you tried that?

Press profile pic > gear icon > privacy and security

Use new biometrics’ has now disappeared from Monzo Labs, it looks like it has matured into the Privacy& Security section.
