Is there a way of forcing a contact update or removing specific ones from my phone app?
I have two contacts in my ‘Monzo contacts’ page that aren’t in my phone contacts app. No idea where Monzo has pulled their numbers from.
They’ve probably got your bank details or your phone number in their contacts.
From the Home screen, try:
- Tap on your profile pic at the top-left
- Tap on ‘Settings’ → ‘Privacy and security’ → ‘Profile privacy’
- Disable ‘Phone number’
Check if they’ve gone.
I tried that earlier. No joy.
I’d understand that working for their app contact list (as in ,I’d disappear from theirs), but my contact list is meant to match contacts in my phone isn’t it? These numbers aren’t in my phone.
