Unable to verify transaction when I try to pay shared tab

Issue:
I’ve tried to pay off a shared tab but I get an error message every time telling me Monzo is unable to verify… I’ve deleted and reinstalled the app which hasn’t worked. I’d just send the money directly but I won’t be able to close off the tab that way.

iPhone 11

App Version:
Not sure - how do I find this out?! It’s the latest version anyway.

On iOS it’s top left (hamburger menu) then top right (cog wheel settings). Scroll down to the bottom to find something like this:

So here’s the app version. Does that help solve the problem though?
