I think the first two episodes were fantastic. I think its gone quite fast in fairness even though they are still introducing and opening the show.
Spoilers below.
Galadriel has had a clip of childhood, become an adult and been on an expedition to find Sauron/Morgoth, returned after a mutiny to be ārewardedā, convinced to go home āas a rewardā, sailed almost home, escaped, got shipwrecked from a shipwreck and almost died and been found.
Elrond has read a book, convinced Galadrial to go home, become an engineer apprentice, lost a stone competition and then made up with his dwarf friend.
The Elf soldier Arondir has been on patrol, been given orders to return home at wars end, gone AWOL to tell Bronwyn he has a crush on her, found out evil nearby and then that ground-shakes destroyed a town and then has been kidnapped/killed? Among with that, Bronwyn has warned her village and she and her son have been attacked by an orc, defeated it and the set out for help - with other villagers - from the elves.
The Brandyfoots have shown their village, seen predators, had an meteor crash with a friendlyish āgiantā. They looked after him, had a family emergency and lots of dead fireflies.
The rings of power have not even been shown yet or the start of the second age. Feels like a lot of build up and lots of adventures to come.
I get so lost in it all as there are far too many, but the UK one I enjoy because of the many British jokes and banter which the American, Canadian and Down Under donāt really have.
Really enjoying Andor on Disney+ - a much more mature Star Wars show that takes its time rather than rush around like a headless, screaming chicken. She-Hulk is good too - good sense of humour which makes a change from standard superhero guff.
Yeah I loved how they had tied the Cambridge Analytica scandal into it cause I donāt think many people realise how data can be used to influence politics and the second season was the most exaggerated example of it, incredible writing!
Iām watching GoT again, ready to disappoint myself at that ending just 69 more hours to go until I get to that point. So probably next Friday at this rate.
That was my reaction at first to be fair, but then I started watching the original YouTube films and got caught up in it. Definitely not for everyone. A very Marmite-y show for sure.
Iāve just tried watching this new season, well say tried I did. However for the 72 minutes it was on for, I was literally just browsing stuff on my phone and barely even looked at what was going on.
So yeah⦠Confirmed, Iām deffo done and over Drag Race
