Just started 2nd season of “Industry”. Surprised it hasn’t been mentioned on here given the banking relevance (and how good it is!)
Just watched the 1st episode of The Midwich Cuckoos, it’s looking promising
I watched it last night.
I’ve no interest in football but I do like Rob and Ryan (or at least the personas they put across), and live just up the road in Chester. I really enjoyed the show and was left looking forward to the next episodes being released.

I really enjoyed it. An absorbing blend of a lot of things, I’d say if you like dark-fantasy stuff it’s a must watch.
There are probably imperfections you could pick up, I wouldn’t call it flawless or anything like that, but more than enough for a very enjoyable ride.

I watched the first episode, keep meaning to go back and watch the rest while my views would still count towards Netflix’s “should we renew this?” metric.

What’s this 
You mean that if you watch so many episodes Netflix marks it as something you like so will recommend similar things to you as well as when new series are released?
Or for the producers to do another series?
I mean that Sandman is a popular show. But it’s also a very expensive show. So Netflix needs is to be VERY popular in order to consider it worth their while to make a second series.
Obviously I’m one person and a drop in the ocean, but every little counts in the show racking up enough views that it crosses the magic threshold that makes it worth Netflix’s while.
But you can’t wait too long, as after a certain point Netflix will have already made the decision, and any extra views racked up simply won’t count.

Honestly if they don’t make a second season of this I will leave Netflix it will rile me so much.
edit: apparently Netflix don’t own the show, they were producers. So another platform would very likely pick it up if they did ditch it.

They haven’t reached Numenor yet, which is the main location for the second age, so plenty to come.
