I have this too (iOS) and that’s what I have to do. It seems to happen most when the new overview is turned on. Also, it’ll also often “hang” when switching between the three.
A bunch of performance improvement fixes should be coming in the next release ![]()

Amazing! Thanks @avb
Not sure if this is the best place to post this, or start a new topic so here goes:
There is an annoying issue (for me anyway!) when switching between balance, spending and target in trends. When you switch between balance and spending, the selected month is maintained but when you switch to target, it reverts to the current month.
If you’re trying to review spending in a previous month, this makes it awkward. Could the month persist between all 3 tabs so they’re consistent please?
Perhaps also a button to the right of the tabs to jump back to the current month?
Do people include their essential bills within Trends or exclude them from the spending?
Exclude them.
- All expected, regular bills assigned to the Bills pot.
- Money to cover total Bills amount for the upcoming period (month) moved from Joint account into Bills Pot.
- Category ‘Bills’ excluded from target (‘Income’, ‘Savings’ & ‘Transfers’ also excluded)
This gives us a burn-down line of the left-over disposable income for the Trends period, with all Bills ring-fenced. Such a relief to have this occur almost automatically each month - although there’s an element of watching involved and double-checking the Bills amounts each time the Bills pot is topped up. But it’s such an easy system and makes finances much less worrying.
That’s how I do it but was curious, thanks ![]()
Revolut transactions seem to show as processes a day after in Trends - purchased on 30th April, but Trends shows 1st May.
Chase transactions show the day they were spent, purchased 2nd May, Trends shows 2nd May.
Not sure who to tag for this to be looked at?
This feature is helping us out so much. It really makes you think about what you’re spending your money on, and having the ability to set a target for the categories you want to track is great. Notifications are also a nice touch! Thanks to those at Monzo that worked on it ![]()
(I hope this month continues to stay within target!)
Wish mine would start telling by me not to eat out.
We tried to reduce it by only using targets and willpower, which reduced it considerably but the spending block on Just Eat/Deliveroo also helped quite a bit ![]()
It’s frustrating but takeout food is good.
I can and do cook, but living centre of the city it’s too easy.
The improvement id like is to tell you how much you’re up/down compared to your target.
This is me.
Heads up, it doesn’t work.
If anyone has any tips, do share ![]()
I need to try do a weekly shop not daily.
Something has just gone wrong with my trends. This has just appeared:
Which seem to be a load of Chase transactions duplicating loads.
If I look at the individual connected accounts pages the transactions are correctly categorised and not duplicating
(edit) I have not spent anywhere near £13k this month and nothing should be in general
Just spotted a load of duplicates in income from Chase as well. It would nice to have an income of £17k a month
Beers are on me ![]()

Just tried the uninstall/restart trick but the big numbers are still there. I guess trends will be broken for me for the weekend now ![]()
I’ve also got the Chase items appearing on all activities in quaduplicate. Also tried to uninstall and reinstall but to no avail. Advised chat but no response.
Yep I’m seeing this also with Chase now.
