Too much stuff on Home screen

I would like to be able to remove

Suggested actions

Rewards

Insurance

Cards

From my home screen.

And since I’m here, some more ideas

Savings/pots should become an icon on the bottom bar. I would say home is for my debit card, and savings/pots should be a separated tab.

I hate that the notification to approve a transaction has an APPROVE button, but pressing it is not sufficient, there’s more actions to be taken. My ADHD brain often presses the button and forgets about the extra steps, because the button does not complete the task it announced.

I hate the animation for receiving payment/salary.

Thank you for your attention

This is why I can’t bank with Monzo any more. It used to be pleasant and basic.

Remove all the clutter and I’d likely come back.

Change to another bank with a very basic app would be my suggestion. Chase or First Direct being a good examples.

Chase is just as terrible with their Home Screen clutter. Spotlight also doesn’t factor spending accurately, transfers for example can’t be removed from insights so it’s not correct in some form.

There’s a real shortage of banks that just offer a basic, banking-only home screen, even first direct have some extra ads and info at the bottom of theirs. Starling and Revolut are the main ones that either have no clutter (Starling) or customisable options (Revolut).
