Three months in, still no card, account won’t load

Looking for advice from anyone who’s been through something similar. Been a long time fan of Monzo since I was living in the UK. Was one of the firsts on the Ireland waitlist. I got my account approved in February 2026 but the card never arrived!

Timeline:

  • Early February 2026: Applied for Monzo Ireland early access, got approved
  • Mid February onwards: Card was supposedly sent never arrived
  • Today: Still no card, and the account isn’t really usable

What I’m seeing now:

  • Web login shows: “Sorry, there’s been a problem loading your account details. If you need help, please get in touch with customer support.”
  • The app only shows two buttons: “Activate card” and “Reorder card”
  • Tapping Reorder card sends me to a “Something’s gone wrong” error page every time
  • No in-app chat is accessible because the account itself fails to load

It feels like a bit of a catch-22: they tell you to contact support through the app, but the app won’t let me reach support.

I genuinely want this account Monzo looks great and I’ve been looking forward to using it but I’m running out of self-service options. Has anyone here had this resolved? Any help appreciated.

Delete the app, restart your device, download the app again and login with your email address.

Should resolve any issues and allow you to move forward ordering a replacement.

Otherwise email help@monzo.com and they’ll have a look into it.
