Looking for advice from anyone who’s been through something similar. Been a long time fan of Monzo since I was living in the UK. Was one of the firsts on the Ireland waitlist. I got my account approved in February 2026 but the card never arrived!
Timeline:
- Early February 2026: Applied for Monzo Ireland early access, got approved
- Mid February onwards: Card was supposedly sent never arrived
- Today: Still no card, and the account isn’t really usable
What I’m seeing now:
- Web login shows: “Sorry, there’s been a problem loading your account details. If you need help, please get in touch with customer support.”
- The app only shows two buttons: “Activate card” and “Reorder card”
- Tapping Reorder card sends me to a “Something’s gone wrong” error page every time
- No in-app chat is accessible because the account itself fails to load
It feels like a bit of a catch-22: they tell you to contact support through the app, but the app won’t let me reach support.
I genuinely want this account Monzo looks great and I’ve been looking forward to using it but I’m running out of self-service options. Has anyone here had this resolved? Any help appreciated.
