Theresa May To Quit... Yes she did

Yep. The problem is that parliament doesn’t have an agenda. It has several mutually exclusive agendas.

Which, I think, stems from the idea of Brexit. There isn’t a Brexit, there are several competing versions, and because for every parliamentarian supporter of Brexit, there is only one true Brexit, consensus will never prevail.

And this will continue to be a problem, and come to the General Election which will almost certainly arrive in the Autumn, it’ll get worse. Theirs a good chance the SNP will get those seats back in Scotland, the Remainy Tory seats are super vulnerable to Lib Dems, and Labour Leavers just won’t move in the numbers hoped by the next Tory Leader.

If it ends up with a Labour minority Government, the SNP for example will want ton of flesh, as will the Lib Dems.

These are not good times for this country.

As always, I do feel that Prime Ministers might get on better if they displayed the emotion they do on leaving while actually in office

I notice she hasn’t given a month’s notice. Do we assume she was on a weekly contract?

I guess Monzo budgeting wouldn’t have worked that well for her.

But… people knew what they were voting for! They aren’t stupid! Everyone knows what Brexit means right?

:grimacing:

I’d imagine the SNP will want a referendum vote so we can remove ourselves from this mess as much as is possible!

BTW this from Stephen Bush of the New Statesman is how I feel about it
