Do you leave just enough for a Domino’s cheese and tomato, or do let them have the extravagance of a meat feast or veggie delight!?
I do the same with my lad, he was most disgruntled that he couldn’t go wild and order a meal deal with desert! I won’t be doing that with the current account card when I get it, must remember!!
I have been using my prepaid card as a “firewall” when doing online banking and just transfer what I need when I need it. Which is what I will do when the current accounts come in - or see if anyone else is doing a prepaid card.
That’s where the discussion of “virtual cards” and the Current Account “pots” feature look interesting to me. It would achieve the same thing but within the boundary of the CA.

Hi there,
One feature of the Monzo card which I have not seen mentioned in the transfer to a current account topic is the ability to temporarily freeze the card use.
Could someone please confirm that by the time we have to move to a CA debit card this facility will be available.

Has anyone had an invite through the app yet?
Am I the only sad act that keeps opening the app and checking, when nothing happens I then check the App Store for an update?

I’ve not had an invite either if it makes you feel any better!! I think the part of the screen where my Monzo app sits is worn out I’ve pressed it so much. Still as the days tick on the more likely an invite will be.

The app merge in the app stores hasn’t happened yet, judging by @anon50039658 tweet the other day it could be late this week or next week!

lol I am glad to read that you lot and opening the app just in the hope an invite will be sat there waiting for yous. Makes me feel better, Im not quite that bad.
