Iām an Android user and registered my interest a while ago - the āregister interestā form always allowed you to select Android so is it worth re-registering?
Good to know and if I was eligible would register interest but not had my account long enough.

Iāve been a beta tester of the Android App for several months now and flagged the odd thing during this time, just wondering is the selection process for Android current accounts random or will people whoāve been on the beta testing for a while get the opportunity to come on board first?

Out if the 676 helping so far, how many of these are investors? I had hoped that being an investor would give early access, but this does not appear to be the case. Being in the far north of Scotland, itās not that easy to pop into London!
Being an investor should put you at the top of the queue (followed by pledgers) when the full current account is released. This is just a preview of the current account which has some significant caveats.

Out of interest, how is the app going to be distributed on Android? A private beta app on the Play Store? Or a manually installed APK?
They asked for my Play email address earlier when completing the EventBrite invite, so Iām guessing the former.

I do wonder what happens if one wasnāt able to attend after being invited? Would one be re-scheduled? Or put back into the pool of users?
Received an invite but unable to attend as Iām out of the country, can I still get the current account without attending, I am also an Investor, how long until I would receive the account if I have to wait?

You need to physically appear in the office, Iām afraid. Blog says it quite clearly:
For now, that means youāll need to be in London or able to travel to London if youāre invited to an event.
Monzo didnāt set any real dates yet. Not too long though, because investors are in first round once preview period is completed.

Yep, I have to say Iām impressed. Despite being initially disgruntled that Android users were left feeling neglected for the CA preview this has been a super quick turnaround, this certainly restores any lost faith
