The app doesn’t update

Hi I haven’t use the Monzo app in 4 weeks as I hadn’t have a phone today I’ve bought a new phone and all my apps reinstalled I entered the Monzo app and it does not refresh it says “there was a problem, user authentication needed”
But that’s it, nothing else pops up on the screen asking me to authenticate my credentials. Should I delete the app and start over?
