My friend who had a nasty brake up with his partner transferred pennies to there account. After they complained he received a message giving him 48 hours to move his money before Monzo closed his account. In the terms and conditions it states that 2 months notice will be given. So just a warning 
you could end up vulnerable and bankless so make sure you don’t just have Monzo!

I did explain it very clearly.
I read before that some people used Monzo as a communication tool. So send a penny with a note in the field. The other person sends it back with a new note. Odd but entirely harmless in the right hands.
After a bad break up and communication cut via traditional methods, it’s a way for someone to potentially abuse an ex-partner.

It says in the terms and conditions they can close it immediately under certain circumstances. More than likely it’s due to malicious communication, which is a criminal offence
