SumUp Pay

Is this confusing, or what?

I wonder what would happen if Curve was the funding source, you added sumup to Curve, and tried to buy something on Curve with Sumup selected in Curve?

Infinite Money glitch

A real life motherlode cheat code (for those that are The Sims fans)

From my years of playing Sims. I get it

It gets better. SumUp don’t charge fx so unlimited free fx on Curve free. I’m assuming that they would pass through the charge in GBP.

I’m starting to like SumUp more and more. Until they realise and kill the fun

Sadly limited to £2000/month for the 0.5% though. Not bad mind you.

Hold up … Went to add my Curve card to SumUp and get it authorised. It used my Curve Cash (ffs but oh well, it’s £1 and it got refunded) but noticed that Curve added a High Risk MMC Fee. End of the road before it even started?

Could be from the verification and won’t show up in an actual transaction?

That’s not good. Don’t Curve charge you for high risk payments ?

He high risk fee should be illegal.

So 1% fee  Our ingenious plan is scuppered.

Sacrificed my £0.01 for the greater good and to solve the mystery.

Wonder what MCC is SumUp using? Something doesn’t add up.

Quasi money is the one I’m thinking.

I’m still gonna try it tomorrow.

Also they refund you the £1 for adding a card.

The £1 yes. The £0.01 High Risk MMC Fee no. I hope I can financially recover.

They’ll hit you with the 1%.

So, excluding SumUp from the equation, you can get 1% from Curve plus 1% from Santander or Chase.

Got this set up Curve linked to SumUp linked to Revolut. First time trying it and Curve declined the transaction but payment taken from SumUp and Revolut.

I’m hoping they’re only pending and the transactions will reverse soon :crossed_fingers:t2:

Sumup to Curve isn’t going to work as Sumup is a financial outfit so blocked by Curve. Should all be just pending.

by any chance does anyone have a referral link so i can sign up?

So transaction went through to complete. I have contacted Curve and they responded quickly and have refunded me the transaction back to SumUp.

However, the inital transaction was part wallet and part linked payment from revolut.

It’s not a major problem as i will still spend the money but there doesnt seem to be a way to transfer your SumUp wallet balance back to a bank account.
