I think it would be really handy to be able to stay logged into the forums via the app. Some way of getting automatically signed in providing the app has been opened/unlocked would make it much easier to jump in and contribute

Great Idea, I believe they are looking to create a better link.
At the moment I find browsing through my mobile web browser a much better experience, or downloading the discourse all (Discourse is the company who create the forum).
