Just seen Starling have an iOS widget to view Spaces balance :ok_hand:

Lol - I think it’ll be bigger news when Starling does a survey and it DOESN’T mention Credit cards.

Love snowing :cloud_with_snow: effect

Didn’t change much yet

Very handy search option tool. Sadly not using Starling on daily basis

I applied again today to test my luck, denied haha.

I did follow their process to have a human review to see what they say (likely nothing different).

Can’t remember if it was here or somewhere else, about the right to erasure? But name etc will remain and align to historic accounts.

I might do a DSAR for the last 6 years for curiousity.

The sign up process seemed a little different this time, mostly the address part, and code by email too? But it could just be me.

The DSAR will just be “we dont like you”

I kept it for now, but new UI is really disaster :scream::pensive_face:

Will see what Starting Bank will deliver next :face_with_peeking_eye:

Hopefully a Credit Card, IPO and yeah a better app!

Also some Starling Cashback would be cool to see

How dare you! I really like the starling app. There’s very little that I’d want to change.

It wont be anything of the sort, just a “not letting customers back. The end”

It’s nothing to do with “liking” anything or anyone.

I’m guessing you’re not familiar, but they have/had issues with AML and no longer let past customers apply.

Your trolling is nonsense.

Oh that i didn’t know. But I guess every bank has different rules for leaving and returning. I’ve left Santander International and joined back twice now. Just got told to wait 30 days before reapplying.

Starling used to be the same until they got their fine.

Chase has never let anyone return. They make that clear though.

Hopefully in the future they will look into letting people return. I’m sure many people (a fair few in this community) would love to return to Starling.

hopefully they deliver the changes they announced 3 months ago soon!

I got curious and had to scour the forum about that fraud issue you had with Starling. Strangely enough, there are quite a few people having similar fraud on r/starlingbankuk.

Talking of overdrafts, have you seen Reddit - The heart of the internet ?

Recently, it seems starling have been refunding some customers overdraft charges on the basis that starling failed to assess properly the customer’s suitability for an overdraft.

A quick Google also turned up this - https://www.financial-ombudsman.org.uk/decision/DRN-4559145.pdf - but I don’t know if it’s the same issue

Starling have just launched their own version of a ‘daily habit saver’ - last digit widget’

Each day if you check your balance, they’ll move the last digit of whatever your balance is into the ‘last digit widget’ saving space either in pounds or pence (your choice).

I’d much prefer this type of saving, it would be less noticeable.

Does it move it automatically on checking your balance, or do you have to force it to do it?

Is there even any interest on this?
