Split payments to allow people with Monzo pay through the app

Instead of automatically directing them to monzo.me, for instance me and my mates use monzo quite a lot… but if he sent me a monzo.me link, I’d just pay him through the app instead and ask him how much I owe.

Is there a way we can make it so it checks if the user has the app first, then as a fail to that it links to monzo.me?

On iPhone, Monzo Me links open in the app if you’ve got it installed.

I think he means if the user has the app, don’t send a link at all - just an invite in the app to pay back. And fall back to the link.

Exactly this, it’d be so much better. It’s a bit pointless to people who DO use monzo.
