Just a quick suggestion here for some thoughts 
Wouldn’t Siri commands be a lot easier for sending and requesting payments?
Only issue for sending is the biometric / PIN that’s needed;(
This was actually delivered a couple of weeks ago. You can pay someone new, request a payment and move money.
Welcome back. I don’t think this dos work. At least I couldn’t get it to.
Could you link the blog post on it, as I can’t seem to find it anywhere please

I haven’t seen a blog post. But I can tell that Monzo have added four App Intents to the app. These can be invoked using Siri, Siri Suggestions or the Shortcuts app.
You can actually see them if you look in the Shortcuts app. Open it, hit the + sign in the top right corner to add a new shortcut, and scroll down to Monzo. Tap Monzo, and you’ll see four options (see below)
Or you should be able to invoke them simply by saying “Hey Siri, pay someone”
