Did you manage to get your order through Halifax?
I ordered yesterday with Monzo and today called as it was cancelled to say it was cancelled because they don’t accept Monzo. So the problem is still going on

Ive just used my Nationwide debt card so lets see. That’s visa debit.
When I called and they said it’s because it was fraudulent and the address didn’t match I was fuming! But then called again to check this one went through and all they said was oh yea we don’t accept Monzo.
They shouldn’t take the payment first if they don’t

Ouch, sorry to hear you’ve been affected. Monzo staff are on the case (see a few posts ago) so hopefully they can work with Shark to resolve the situation, but no idea how long that might take.

Yep was same for me. 1st time they said they didn’t know why it was cancelled and must be a glitch - so got me to do it again…then they cancelled/refunded it again!

They have to be careful making statements like that… if I were running a business and another one said something like that about mine they’d be getting a letter from the legal team… monzo are probably a bit more thick skinned than me though.

I made a purchase in 2020 and it went through just fine for me
Could be true unless it was just a fluke mine went through un-noticed as with what people have said above surely it’ll take them so much time to just go through all the orders and reject the ones they don’t like.
Maybe a 3rd party is better such as Amazon to get shark stuff as I doubt Amazon will ‘decline’ any bank

Unfortunately it’s the only place to get spare parts - 3rd parties don’t have them

I suppose theirs also using other parts that people have made to fit the item as long as it’s not electronic and something like a filter or new wheel then it should be safe

Stay there. I have a Shark and its rubbish, I spend more time cleaning and unblocking the hoover than I do cleaning the floor.

I’ve never had a problem with our Shark. In fact it’s the best hoover I’ve ever owned, hands down.

Same here! Although sometimes things get jammed in the spinner at the bottom but i suppose it’s the same with all hovers that
