Sold a few items to a friend in a discord group and they paid me via SEPA with a iban I had generated for my monzo account its only 20 euro so I did not see the effort in opening a transferwise account as the worst that could happen is the payment is returned.
I’m guessing this takes a few days. Coming from a finnish account.
Anyone else had any experience and I know that monzo and SEPA can be hit or miss.
I transfered €1 from KBC Ireland (ROI) via SEPA to Monzo to test the speed last year.
I sent it on Friday 30th August 2019 at 19:16 and it arrived in my Monzo account on Monday 2nd September 2019 at 14:50.
Guessing it’s next working day if all goes through correctly then.
Update it arrived 11AM today
Good to hear it arrived fine.
I used the Dutch Disney+ last year so I tested the balance I had left in Bunq to Monzo last night at 17:28 as that did fail last year when I tried. I received that payment this morning too at 11:26.
