I’m trying to setup a direct debit with the company that manages my house alarm and they’re saying that 040004 is an invalid sort code. Has anyone else had this problem? I’m not sure what do do!

This is really a problem at their end as it suggests that they have not updated their system in years
However Monzo may be able to help/prod them into action if you email details to:
