Schedule payment repeat

I have a scheduled payment that goes out twice a year, but can’t set this up in Monzo. Can we have more control over the frequency of scheduled payments? Along with or instead of the default options, a more granular “Repeat ever [number] [select: days/weeks/months/years]”?

Currently I’m having to schedule a yearly payment from Monzo to a different bank account that can send a payment every 6 months

Hi David & welcome

You could set up 2 individual scheduled payments each on the required date, set to repeat every year?

(on :android:) The repeat choices are Never, Every Day, Every week, Every 2 weeks, Every 4 weeks, Every month, Every quarter, Every year.

I was going to say but David beat me to it. Have two scheduled and set to a year.

So like:

1st Jan - repeats yearly
1st Jul - repeats yearly.

Welcome to the forum! I’ll vote for this, purely to have it in the minds of the developers when they next visit this piece of functionality - be good to have more flexibility and not have to set up two separate payments (as per the suggestions above).

I’ve voted too, it should be like Starlings.

This feature has already been suggested. You can vote for it here:

Setting up two annual scheduled payments as a workaround for 6-monthly standing orders works, but sadly is not a solution for 6-monthly direct debits.
