Save £1,378 a year with the 52 Week Savings Challenge

Has anyone tried it out? How did it compare to the 1p challenge?

I’m currently following this and looking forward to replacing my 2011 MacBook Pro with a new one in the new year

I’d really like to take advantage of this, plus many more IFTTT integrations but my main account is a Joint Account and so I can’t use IFTTT

Any updates on if/when Joint Account integration with IFTTT integration will/won’t go live?
Not sure if this is a Monzo-side issue or if it is a IFTTT-side issue

I use IFTTT to send £2.50 a day to a Monzo pot and round ups. Every now and again when I’m a little short I withdraw the money.

Thanks, I voted for it a while back.

In most of your forum posts you ask questions but never come back to discuss them. Is there a reason for this?

Unless it’s a bot :robot: that auto posts these on here and socials etc under her account?

I mean, I’ve actually just started doing the 1p challenge but it’s not been going very well so far :weary: :joy:

I’m currently doing £1 on Monday, £2 on Tuesday up to £7 on Sunday then it restarts on Monday again. Which I started like last month and it’s going well :ok_hand:t2:

Oh haiiii  Glad you’re not a robot

Assuming you’re paid monthly, like me you will be glad it is finally payday next week :metal:

Payday tomorrow :heart_eyes_cat:

One thing I don’t miss is being paid monthly!! Love being paid weekly!

I tried weekly once and couldn’t do it. The mentality I had was it’s fine to blow my money this week because I’ll get some more the next

Being paid monthly means I can get all my bills to come out first then whatever is left is mine. Divide by 4 and that’s my rough weekly allowance :innocent:

I’m a contractor so I split this approach, a monthly or so dividend which gets put into my bill payment account (not in Monzo), and a weekly salary into Monzo for ‘cash spending’.

Is that through IFTTT or standing orders?
