The recent payee list is really useful for most payments.
However, just occasionally I make a one off only payment, to a payee I’m never going to need again.
It would be handy if I could tidy these up by removing the non-required ones?

Definitely something we’re looking at - our payee section is in the process of being overhauled

This was 7 years ago. Any chance it’s in the next release?
My payee list is painful! I’ve been with Monzo something like 8/9 years and I have some people who’ve moved bank accounts in that time, some people who I’ve only paid once 6 years ago. It’s unnecessarily bloated and confusing.
Can we get a simple remove payee option???
If you locate a payee in your list of all payees, tap to see the details, and select Edit, there’s an option to delete (on the Android app, anyway).
Can’t see any way of deleting a payee on iOS, even when the payee’s bank account no longer exists. It complains that the payee’s details are no longer valid but there’s no option to delete, which seems strange.
Ah - I was trying to do it via the All Payees section! If I go via Manage Payees then, yes, I get the Delete option.
I can also delete entries in Recent without them being removed from All.

Interesting you came up against the same UI flow as myself. It felt natural to want to sort my payees at the time I’m paying someone, and manage payees feels like it should be reachable from that flow.
Nevertheless, now I see the Manage Payees section, I notice that I can delete there.
