Nice. Glad it can be sorted quickly. If that had happened to me I think I may have been a bit naffed.
If your payroll department has made a mistake entering in your new account I would expect them to send you a faster payment today for your pay.
I would guess thatās probably the issue. Or the payroll system has decided that it does in fact not like Monzo and failed without telling anyone.

Iāve passed the correct details over, so weāll see if its today or not.

Urgh. Youāre not helping my bank account paranoia here. This is the sort of error I dread. I check account numbers so many times when setting up payments.

yeah I am not allowed my phone out in work ā¦ so it was difficult to check the details.
In hindsight I probably should have written it down to check.

It worked this month 
Received my first salary into my Monzo CA this morning.
Not going to lie, I was having a mini panic attack at about 1am. My salary usually goes just past midnight, but it didnāt this time. Didnāt help my other halfās salary (work at same company) went in at about 12:10 to his Nationwide account. Got paid about 2am (which, if I had read this thread in advance may have saved me a lot of stress!). Also didnāt help that I updated my card details about 10 minutes before the cut off points (this was because they needed to add Monzoās details to their HR system).
All seems good!

Have to also add, I got my salary paid into Monzo for the first time this month and it worked perfectly. Love the moneybags emoji as well

My 4th Salary came in Monzo CA this week. All DDs and SOs are also been going out fine. Thereās a lot to improve but no one should be panicking and be assured to know itās fully licenced Bank with FSCS protection.

Yes you can have your salary paid to your Monzo current Account. Just update your details with your payroll department
