I’m getting a few Active Card Checks from the US. None of these are from organisations with whom I have any financial relationship (as far as I know). I’ve frozen my card for the moment; should I be worried?
Yes block and replace your card as soon as possible.
It’s either you’ve clicked a link in a sms (usually for delivery fee or similar) or shopped somewhere unusual.
Could also be a potential leak of details through a provider. Lyca Mobile has had a lot of negative feedback for people having used their card there in recent times, but there is no proof of this.

Thanks for the response Carlo146. I’m confident I’ve not clicked on a random link - but I did recently get a Lyca mobile SIM card. Thanks for that info.
I’m actually in NZ for a while and not using the account so I’ll leave the card frozen until back in the UK.
