In addition this refence key idea, it would work well with a greater than 10 pot limit.
Also I know their is a string length limit on the bank transfer reference field, but a search/match should find closest pot. āPotSuperSunnyHolā could easily link to poorly named āSuper Sunny Holidayā pot.
A vote for Transfer between Pots from me. So basic you intuitively look for the button to do itā¦ just has to be there.
Not sure if this has been mentioned anywhere in the thread but I noticed a limit of Ā£15k this morning to move money into a pot. It was easily got around by doing two moves but itās an extra step that shouldnāt need to exist

It was money I invested, I just withdrew it from my broker as I now need it towards the deposit on a house.
That said when I regularly receive money from investments and would put it in pots even if itās for the medium term until I find the right investment

Iāve hit my limit of 10 pots, but would love it if I could add more. Does anyone know why there is a limit to this at all?
I think it was because the user interface doesnāt really support any moreā¦ (thatās to say that Monzo would need to rethink how pots are displayed as more than 10 would be messy/confusing)
(Not necessarily my view - Iām just half remembering something that someone from Monzo said - maybe it was @cookywook or @hugo?)
I donāt know if Iām being a bit stupid, but I knew that pots (and coin jar) existed, but it still took me a lot of trial and error to even find them in the app and set them up. I had to resort to google to figure out how to set up a coin jar.

I am loving the idea of your bank and enjoy the features that are included. Big thank you for bringing Apple Pay to users today - this was a real game changer and has now made me consider switching to use Monzo as my main account.
Regarding the awesome feature āPotsā - I feel you have all the ingredients to make it perfect, and Iād like to give my opinion on some tweaks and improvements to this feature, that would make it even more user friendly. These are features me and my friends who use Monzo all agree on:
ā¢ Layout options - most desirably, Grid View. At the moment, itās a little long-winded having to swipe all the way through your pots one by one. Being able to sort alphabetically etc would also be very good.
ā¢ Ability to upload pictures. This is important to make the pot more personalised. The choice of pre-sets are very limited and do not represent all the different types of pots people might want to create.
ā¢ Function to āforce touchā on your main balance to send money to a desired pot. Standing order feature to pots would also be handy.
ā¢ A way to set a savings goal amount for each pot and a percentage indicator/bar to show your progress/how close you are to achieving your savings goal amount.
ā¢ The ability to move money directly from Coin Jar to another pot.
ā¢ No limit on amount of pots.
So those are my suggestions. Keep up the great work!

This one exists if you create a pot called āCoin Jarā or do you mean you wanted an option to turn any pot into a coin jar?

I didnāt realise the Coin Jar pot existed! Thank you for letting me know! Yes, the ability to pick a pot for your change would also be good, in addition to the Coin Jar. Or at least a feature to move from Coin Jar directly to another pot.

No problem, itās great, Iāve got about Ā£25 in my coin jar now. I plan to move it to a savings account at some point and start again

Not sure if this has been resolved, but is there a way of changing the order of pots, in case you want a pot you made today to be next to your main account?
