When you add notes to a transaction, they are displayed in the transaction list as a sub-line of text.
However, there is a bug for pot transfers as they display a different variable.
In the attached example, you can see I have set the transaction note, but that is not what is being displayed in the transaction list view.
Could we get this fixed please?
Pretty sure it’s standard, not a bug. It’s showing you the name of the merchant/payee, it can’t show both because it’s overruled by your business account entry.
Hi Carlo,
As a UI/UX designer, I respectfully disagree.
For every other transaction type, when you set the notes for that transaction, it is displayed in the sub-line. Pot transfers should follow this convention.
Best regards,
Dax.
Your other transactions show “Merchant” and then “Note”.
In the above, the “Merchant” is “Business” account, and then “Note” being second to that is the merchant name.
It’s not a bug, it’s design.
Fine, call it a ‘design oversight’. Either way, it is not a desirable behaviour and should be fixed.
It’s not broken, it’s just not to your preference.
Two vastly different things.
