I get paid 3 working days before the end of the month, which is rubbish as it changes so much month on month. The safest bet is to top my pots up on the last day of the month, and just let the cash sit there a little while until it happens. I’ve already discovered that last day of month isn’t an option (why Monzo???) but need to know what would happen in February if I set my payment date to be the 30th/31st of the month? Would Monzo automatically carry them out on the 28th, or would they not happen? I can’t find the answer anywhere.
If you’re already doing this manually each month, February won’t be an issue.
We’re n the same position. In any monthly cycle, 2 salaries get paid by the 31st and then the bills go out from the 1st onwards. So we top up the (Joint account) bills pot before the 1st each month and the job’s a good 'un. Including February.
