The holiday villa we are staying in took the money from our Monzo account at the same time I was transferring funds. So it showed as declined but then went through as “pending”.
The owners of villa have just got the card decline and can’t see it pending.
Is there any way I can sort the “pending status” in my account and start again as its quite a lot of money that’s basically stuck.
You need written proof the merchant won’t collect the details IE in form of email or chat. Then raise a dispute for goods and services (bottomof the transaction screen tap something wrong).
They may be able to reverse, otherwise it’s a 7 or 30 day automatic refund if merchant doesn’t collect. Monzo can also tell you what date that will happen.
