Payment showing time frame

Hey,

I’m due to be paid Monday but it’s not showing on my account today can it update any time today (I’m not concerned about getting it at 4pm) but I am concerned if it’s not showing in grey it won’t arrive on Monday as it should ?!

Nobody knows, there isn’t a set time.

Your payday isn’t until Monday so if you don’t get it then, speak to your employer.

If it’s not showing by now, you aren’t being paid by BACS (where a payment is set up to be paid to a bank account for a certain date in the future, i.e. Monday - you’ll have 3 working days notice of the payment if it is a BACS payment, so it should have been visible in your feed from yesterday)

Instead, you’ll be paid by Faster Payments (where the payment is made instantly). You won’t get any advanced notification of this payment, it’ll just arrive when it is made on Monday.

Yeah they didn’t even do faster payment, then said it would get paid tomorrow instead by bacs and it’s half past 7 and not showing greyed out so looks like they’ve not sent it again thanks for your help :slight_smile:

If they said on Monday they’d pay you tomorrow via BACS, and nothing is in the feed by now, it looks like they’re not being honest. Ever had issues before with your salary being paid?

No they said after it was due last Monday and I expected it to show in last Friday by bacs it didn’t show. They after complaint said they would bacs payment it for tomorrow the 4th not Monday so I expected to see it today and it’s not there so they haven’t done it again thanks anyway

Nope never had issues going to seek advice now as this is impacting things

The advice is to wait until the day they said it’d reach your bank - tomorrow - and then talk to them about it. It might be they’re telling you BACS, but actually it’s faster payment.

You can’t bacs a payment for next day. It’s a 3 day cycle.

It’ll be made by faster payments.

I get loads of people (especially tradies) saying “Here are my BACS details”. Even some large companies have sent me invoices with their account details preceded by “BACS:”
