Payment confirmation reminder

I recently got stung with a fine from TFL for not paying my congestion charge… I was sure I paid it, so I looked back through my account history and it was sitting there in my account history - as a payment that had not been confirmed!

Could you add a function where Monzo will remind you an hour later that you have a pending payment confirmation? Or perhaps 8am the following day?

London car Congestion Charge TfL

Just sharing an issue today when trying to pay congestion charge - Monzo shows transaction in app however TFL have no notification on their system. Tried again by phone … Payment now showing 3 times on Monzo app (not possible to duplicate payment according to TFL) and which, having read other user experience on here (much apipreciated) will be automatically refunded in 6/7 days. South West Trains: Refund bug?

I had the same thing with TFL and the congestion charge but I didn’t get a “free ticket” out of it - I got a fine for non-payment…

Once with the pre–pay card (detailed in the thread about South West Trains). Once with a current account.
