I currently sort all of my salary into pots, and it would be so good if I could pay people from a pot too.
As an example, I have a doggy daycare pot with a direct debit each week going out. But sometimes I need an extra day. To pay for that extra day I have to transfer the money out of my pot and then pay. It would be so helpful to be able to just pick the pot when paying like you would account.

This would be a great idea.
The workaround I found is to set the payment as scheduled for the next day. Future payments can be set from a pot once created.
Would only work if you can delay the payment by a day, but works for us when paying the window cleaner who doesn’t wash the windows on a regular schedule.
Withdrawing your money manually from a pot just to pay a direct debit sounds a bit of a faff. You can just use a bills pot and have the direct debit taken directly from the pot.
I do have my subscriptions coming from the pots, this is for one off extra payments.
Build a bit of an extra buffer in there instead of just putting in the bare minimum. Roundups are a great way of saving without noticing it has gone
