No Response from Live Chat

I think that only stays until they close rge conversation on their side. Which often happens while the conversation should in fact stay open which is particularly infuriating.

Do Monzo not do live chat at weekends ? :joy: I started a chat nearly 3 hours ago and I’m still waiting for a response

They don’t do live chat what so ever.

But they do handle chats at a weekend, you’ll just need to wait your turn.

Sent a message at 7am yesterday (Friday). Still no response.

Was it a basic query?

Fraud?

Other specialist area (vulnerable, financial difficulties etc)?

If general, the folks here are pretty helpful most of the time.

I wanted to see if it’s possible to extend the term of my loan.

The answer is simply no.

If you can’t afford the repayments you can enter into a repayment arrangement on lower affordable payments.

This may show on your credit file, which technically does extend the loan but impacts your credit file.

Thanks. Disappointing that I don’t even get any kind of generic response to say ‘we’re looking into it but we’re extremely busy and we estimate it’ll take 2-3 days to reply’.

It’s end of month, which is busiest period for most banks (payday, bills due, affordability etc).

Get another loan?

Of course, can totally understand why there would be delays, but would be nice to get at least a bit of a heads-up or ETA.

Agreed, or just a simple way of self servicing in the app.

There’s no help topic about extending the loan, even if it said it’s not possible, would be helpful.

I thought there was a message after you contacted support?

Something along the lines of being able to close the app and they’ll get back to you asap?

(I haven’t contacted them for ages)
