Let’s just put it this way I literally beat all the gym trainers with my Cinderace so I wouldn’t worry to much just enjoy the game and have fun.
Mario and rabbits kingdom battle is on sale for £7.50 at the moment. Got it at the weekend and loads better than I expected. On deal until 19th April.
As you’ve played the game, can I ask how viewable it is in portable mode? I’m partially sighted and struggle with some games in portable, I can play Animal Crossing or Mario Kart fine but a game like Breath of the Wild is too much with all the little menus. It looks like this game has small numbers and statistics on the screen?
Thanks
I’d say the picture quality is much better and sharper on the portable mode
Sorry I thought you meant pokemon
It is a turn based game so you can spend time viewing the screen before having to make any decisions. The structure is always the same and you get to know your weapons so don’t have to always read it. Some of the parts of the screen are small though. This is a view in a battle with your health on the left, what you can do on the bottom and against the enemy at the top the chances of hitting them
Thanks!
Yep my strongest pokemon is cinderace level 36
Thank you for the screenshot and info, that’s really helpful.
The health numbers look too small for me sadly. I know there’s a zoom option but I don’t want to have to do that every time it’s my turn.
Thanks again though
I really enjoyed it, a really fun game.
Have you played much of the Pokemon series? The last one I played was Crystal wayyy back (apart from a quick go on Ruby via an emulator), is it jarring when you come back to a new game with all new pokemon or is it easy to get into again?
It’s a very moorish game. I have poor concentration but can play for hours.
If you like upbeat adventure games then you’ll love it.
Sword has different pokemon to shield and vice versa
Managed to defeat “bea” second time round.
Out of curiosity, what’s your highest level pokemon?
I finished the game a while ago my whole team is level 100 so I tend to just walk with one in my bag as having a full level 100 team is overkill I’ve even bred different Pokémon so I can level up others.
Just defeated Gordie ( rock type) in one go
Awesome stuff remember rock types have quite a few weaknesses, Steel, Grass, Water, Fighting.
Yep, now I’ve got a strong team ill stick with them and keep levelling up
Dug up some old pokemon cards, got a non holo charizard, is it worth anything?
Give something like this a try
I’ve not used any of the pokemon card ones myself, but there are plenty of other similar app options that should help you figure out the value of your cards
Thanks
Got raihan next, guessing it’s the last and most difficult trainer?
When doing a 2 on 2how do you know which pokemon you’re dynamaxing?
Dragon Type are weak against themselves, Ice Type, Fairy. Also bare in mind dragon types are fairly fast so just make sure you have Pokemon with relative good speed but you’ll figure this all out anyway play it and enjoy it the thing about Pokemon games you learn along the way.
As for dynamaxing in a 2 vs 2 battle can’t say I’ve actually ever had the need to or if it’s possible I think it’s only when you’re doing a solo battle as there wouldn’t be enough space in the arena.
Only got to wyndon city I think I have Leon next which aparrently you need level 70 for!
Mine range from 47 to 56
