New Device, Apple Pay, Declined

Just switched to a new device iPhone 16 e. Redownloaded Monzo and added card to Apple wallet.

Issue: Monzo keeps declining my Apple Pay order.

Tried other cards and they work fine with Apple Pay. So it’s not a problem of new device.

Tried using Monzo card number and pin to pay, and it also works well. So Monzo card is also working well. No limit issue.

Tried deleting Monzo from my wallet and re-added, still not working.

Guess it’s a new devices trust issue. Any ideas or suggestions are appreciated!

Problem solved by sending email to Monzo team. Many thanks!

Did they say what the issue was, just for others in future?

I am sorry, but they did not say. I think it might because something happens when getting my old iPhone disconnected to the Monzo account. They changed from their side and kept asking for my photos of me holding hand-writing numbers.
