I’ve just activated my Monzo card and then attempted to do a bank transfer from Barclays. This payment bounced back to Barclays and said the account no / sort code was not recognised.
Does it take time for the account to be recognised?
I always transfer from Barclays with no issue. Make sure you’ve entered the sort code correctly (04-00-04) as if you reverse the last 2 digits it’s a bank that doesn’t accept faster payments
Ah, I forgot it’s sunday. Barclays likes to sleep on Sunday. I know it’s says cheques but it’s not unknown for something else not to work at the same time
