Name on bank transfer

Hi,

Got a joint account with my wife and when sending an outgoing payment from my app, it appears on recepient statement with just my wife’s full name… Barclays do it so it’s just our surname.

Anyone had any luck getting it changed with Monzo?

If I remember correctly, it will show the name of the person who sent the payment (or set up the standing order), even though it’s from the Joint Account.
So I assume that it was your wife who sent that payment. If you send one, does it show your name? Also, make sure you have switched to the joint account in the payments screen. I’ve made that mistake a few times.

Yeah that would be good if it did but it was definitely me sending the payment but joint account holder name shows. Chat aren’t being overly helpful hence just trying to see if anyone else has encountered this and if it is possible in practice to fix
