Multi charge back

I would class it as a breach of contract or their terms. They can take the digital cards back, they’re useless without their physical twin anyway.

Chargebacks depend entirely on the terms of service.

To have any chance of success you’ll need a record of the terms of service / sale agreement that shows the money you paid was explicitly for a digital and a printed card and that you only received one of those. A loose idea you ‘bought into’ a ‘roadmap’ feels unlikely to succeed. Find any documents / sales agreements / terms and conditions you can.

You may also have to accept a partial chargeback e.g 50% as you did receive half of the product (the digital card) - whether you want or value that half of the product isn’t really consequential.

Unfortunately this is not what a chargeback is for. That’s for courts.

If a builder built half your house then vanished after paying then the full amount, that’s court - not a chargeback.

It can absolutely be what chargebacks are for. It really depends on how clear the breach of contract is. I.e non-delivery of goods is usually an easy form of breach to show and probably what most chargebacks are for.

Even when it’s complicated - I.e very poor service at an accommodation provider - chargebacks can be successful.

If somehow you payed by card you can also charge this back, I’d say with a very high likelihood of success for at least a partial chargeback.

I’ve seen customers win chargebacks for a lot, lot less
