I have a feature suggestion. Being able to instantly remove money from flexible ISAs/Savings pots.
Itās important to have an emergency fund. At the moment that sits around in a pot not earning any interest because in the case of an emergency that money needs to be instantly accessible.
I cannot put it in a savings pot, because it can take a working day to get it. As I found out over easter bank holidays, that working day period can sometimes take between 4-5 days. If Monzo plus customers were instantly able to access that money (effectively the bank uses its reserves to provide an incredibly short term no risk loan), then the interest earned would offset the cost of Monzo Plus.
Iām currently experiencing a bug regarding Monzo Plus ā attempting to toggle off āauto-renew when plan endsā prompts (successful) Face ID auth, but then the toggle immediately switches back on. There is no way to keep the toggle off.
With the some of the monzo pots they are flexible. I.e. instant access. This wouldnāt and shouldnāt apply to fixed rate ones. Currently flexible savings suffer from a delay as money is transferred between parties. I would like there to be no delay for monzo plus customers
just paid for monzo plus, tbh I donāt see any value in unique monzo.me url (already have one) as well as a new card (mainly use apple pay) or the events, but I do want to support Monzo and grab the discounted fee for what will be on offer in the future.
I am annoyed when I do not get invited to test new features though (as an investor, early card holder monzoer #3584! and now plus user) the monzo points, for example, is something you should offer monzo plus users⦠maybe think about offering all new features to plus holders first as a benefit!
Agreed, I was thinking this earlier on today. Not so much plus, but just for investors too (although I understand sometimes things do need to be tested using a random sample).
I disagree with investors and Plus users getting preferential access to new parts of the app.
Mainly because it widens the gap between the haves and have nots. It means those who can afford it are paying for early access to functionality and itāll skew usage statistics.
Appologies if Iāve missed this, there has been a lot of posts and I havenāt been able to read them allā¦
Is there a set deadline for the āearly birdā Monzo Plus sign up?
Donāt want the disappointment of finding out its doubled in price when I finally make my decision
