I’d be wary of getting the midnight sky. I’ve had 3, all with quality issues. Monzo gave up after sending me 3 different ones, refunded me my Monzo Plus (despite being outside the cooldown period) and told me to either change colour or live with the defects.

Yep - I went Monzo plus (which I’m OK with) and got midnight sky instead of my previous Hot Coral Investor Card. Biggest mistake ever, the card is such poor quality (it’s worn down, the numbers are rubbing off etc, etc) and lost the investor badge.
BUT - it does look good in Apple Pay tho!

And the best bit is, if you chose to revert back to Hot Coral, you will also get a similarly crap quality card compared to the original Hot Coral investor cards

Or you know, you could just select the investor card instead of the plus card if you’re not happy with it atm
I guess the other Monzo Plus colours don’t have these defects?
My Lagoon Blue card arrived in perfect condition. I went Lagoon Blue as the hue compliments my Hot Coral Joint Account card, rather than contrasting with it (as the Midnight Sky card would) The LB also looks good as a virtual card in both the Monzo app and Google Pay.
It seem the LB has far less quality issues reported than the MS card.

Dear Monzo,
Please allow us to add and remove features to Monzo plus. We have been promised that Monzo plus is all about “ Add the features you need, when you need them.”. It’s very nice that the investor card is getting looked at, the Monzo metal card is coming, but before all this we would like Monzo plus to be customisable as promised. I appreciate that it’s not easy to add this feature, but please make it a priority.

It would be nice to be able to include the Monzo Plus subscription fee in ‘Committed Spending’ and/or have the ability to change the category/exclude from Summary.

sorry if this has been asked before - is it possible to change your card colour once you’ve made a decision? Not planning to - just interested to know if you can
Yep. You just need to ask via in app chat when you want to replace your card and they’ll do it for you
If you want to revert to the standard Coral colour then you can do this yourself in app.

I got my salary paid in to my #FullMonzo 
for the first time last week, and this is how it went…
30th: Oooh, I can see the money coming into my account tomorrow…
31st: Wahoo! I’ve been paid! Everything is in green and I have money again! 
01st: Wake up to a notification “You’ve spent c£900 today!” I don’t have any money left 
Easy come, easy go I guess

I can relate to that every month, unfortunately.
But it is good to see the incoming in advance.My Wife’s salary is paid into our Monzo Jount Account via BACS so we see the incoming amount in advance. I get mine paid a few days later via Faster Payments so there’s no advanced notice for that - it arrives as soon as the payment is made. But a nice surprise to receive 
Then it reduces in amount 
and the cycle begins again.

Just cancelled my Lloyd’s one because from what I saw the monzo one is going to be cheaper

I pay £20 month with Natwest, mainly for the travel and mobile phone insurance. You also get a few other benefits, but these are less important for me. Will change over to Monzo Plus when mobile phone cover is an option.
P.S. How about a gold Monzo Plus card?
