Sick. Now I can pay my rent from it
Fair point.
I mightāve missed this question but is there anywhere in my new bills pot to show the total of the direct debits/SOs I have connected to the pot?
For example: āBased on last months total you need Ā£500 in this pot to cover your billsā but worded much better coz I am super tired and frazzled
Not yet, no. But it has been highlighted as a crucial indicator.
Get some rest
I believe when you scroll down in Summary all of the Direct Debits and SOās paid that month are together under Commited Spending and it gives you a total. Not exactly what you were asking but itās a quick way to workout how much money youād need in the Bills pot
Aces thank you. I am watching The Detectorists from the safety of my onesie so that helps
I chickened out and moved the money back into my main account & switched to pay from there instead of the bill pot⦠Iāll have to wait till I have enough in my main account to fall back on to test it.
nothing personal - always wanted to use that one for some reason
So weāve got bills pots, salary sorter, an apology from the Plus team (and another Plus reboot) - but whereās the blog post from Tom about something big?
maybe its
?
Woop woop!
Just for interest, I just made payment to someone who I also have a scheduled payment to going out of my bill pot. Monzo used my main account money, not my bill pot money. So the message saying āevery transactionā definitely could be worded more clearly. But positive that it works this way as the other way would be very annoying!!
woops wrong thread
while Iām here though, +1 for recurring card payments from pots (i know theyāre on the way )
Iām so happy this has become a feature! Excited to put it to use!!
Quick question: Is anyone else struggling to set up their Spotify payments to come straight from a pot?
I donāt know whether itās because my monthly payment is listed as a subscription, rather than a bill, but I canāt seem to link it to a pot
Does anyone have any tips? Thank you!!
Any update on this?
50% of my recurring payments are subscriptions/card payments.
Currently needing to leave money in my main or rely on my overdraft to catch it.
As far as I know, this is something to be looked at āin the futureā so Iām not expecting anything in the short term.
Unfortunately, although the ābillsā pot is a good idea, with recurring subscriptions and card payments staying in the main account, itās not something I would use yet. I need all my committed spending in the same place.
This is now available to all so please use the main thread
