Monzo has crashed

Issue:Monzo is crashing every session, with 2 minutes. Screen freezes and have to force quit app. Have restarted phone but issue returns.

Details to reproduce:
OS:26.4.2
Device:iPhone 16 Pro
App Version:7.24.0

Try deleting the Monzo app, rebooting the phone (important) then re-installing the app.

That seems to have resolved the problem, but I believe that should not be necessary

I’ve had a similar problem for about 1 week, on the latest app version and the one before it.
I haven’t had any crashes, but the app freezes any time I click on a transaction in the activity feed or a pot transaction.

I’ve now deleted, rebooted, reinstalled so I whilst it is currently not freezing, clicking on a transaction still has a very noticeable delay before anything happens.

I will mention that Monzo is the only app I’ve ever had to periodically delete and reinstall for bug/performance issues.

OS: 26.4.2

Settings > apps > Monzo > reset session

This also works without having to reinstall for iOS.

It’s already slowed down again and extremely laggy when clicking on transactions and then stuttering when scrolling down the transaction view.

I tried this ^ as kindly suggest by @Carlo1460 but it hasn’t helped.

I have plenty of free storage on my iPhone 17
Pro, excellent network coverage, latest software on iOS and Monzo, and no issues with any other apps.

Are you TestFlight or App Store?

App Store. I can’t be sure of exact timescale but I think it’s been around 1 week ago that the issue started ie the latest 2 Monzo app versions.

I have the same phone and app, but zero issues (albeit I don’t use it much).
