Over the last few weeks, the app has started freezing. Typically I go into the app, do whatever I need to do, then leave and do other things. Next time I open the app - which might be anything from 10 mins to 4 hours later - the whole Monzo screen is frozen; no scrolling, no button clicking, nothing. Sometimes hard-exiting the app and reopening works, sometimes not. I’ve deleted the app and redownloaded from the app store but the problem persists.
I had this issue a few weeks ago as well and ended up restarting my phone to fix it.
Thankfully it only happened once for me and hasn’t recurred since.
My partner has this issue. She restarted the phone, re-installed app before and after installing latest iOS update and the problem persists. It’s fine when the app is re-installed, but subsequent opening of the Monzo app starts up with it frozen
